Code of Conduct

Students must conduct themselves in a manner that upholds the prestige and reputation of the institute, both within and outside the campus.

Courtesy is an essential quality of the hospitality professional. Greeting people and communicating in soft tones should become a habit. The medium of communication on campus is strictly English.

General Conduct

  • 1Conform to grooming standards for uniforms, personal hygiene, and professional appearance.
  • 2Classroom and campus conduct must be satisfactory; serious misconduct may warrant immediate expulsion.
  • 3Smoking, tobacco, or alcohol consumption is not permitted within institute premises.
  • 4Mobile phones are not permitted in the college building.
  • 5Ragging is strictly prohibited and punishable by law; report incidents to the Anti-Ragging Committee immediately.

Attendance & Punctuality

  • 1College timing is 09:00 to 17:00 hours, Monday through Friday.
  • 2Students must be punctual for assembly, theory classes, practical classes, and assignment submissions.
  • 3Late coming is not permitted except in unforeseen situations, with Principal/HOD approval.
  • 4Students are not to leave the campus during college hours without prior permission.
  • 5Minimum 75% attendance is required for eligibility in annual examinations.

Grooming & Hygiene

  • 1Daily shower, clean uniforms pressed properly, and polished shoes are mandatory.
  • 2Boys must maintain short hair, shave regularly, and avoid jewellery.
  • 3Girls with long hair should knot it neatly; light makeup and minimal jewellery only.
  • 4Keep nails short and clean; use anti-perspirant and avoid strong perfumes.

Practical Dress Code

  • FPFood Production: white chef coat, black pants, apron, scarf, chef cap, and tool kit.
  • F&BF&B Service: white shirt, black trousers/skirt, black shoes, waist coat (boys), bow tie (girls).
  • FOFront Office: same as F&B service without waist coat.
