Dr K S Vijayanambi

Dr K.S.Vijayanambi, Former, Principal Pondicherry Institute of Hotel Managemant and Catering Technology is an alumnus of Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Chennai. He has completed his Ph.D in Tourism Management Discipline on Trends in Medical Tourism from Madurai Kamaraj University.

An accomplished Administrator, Principal, Teacher and Educator with expertise in higher education and demonstrated success in the development of students.

Extensive experience in the creation and design of successful student programs with a track record

After completing his cruise line industry exposure from Carnival Cruiselines, USA, he has started his career as a faculty in Food Production department from State Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Trichirappali, TN. He got deputed as Head of the department , SIHM Kozhikode from 2011 to 2014. And then he got posted as Principal Pondicherry Institute of Hotel Management and catering technology,Pondicherry from 2019 to 2025. He is having more than 38 years of experience in academics and Training. He has published various research works in leading journals topics related to Tourism and Hospitality.
