A state-of-the-art training restaurant and mock bar designed to provide students with hands-on experience in food and beverage service, beverage preparation, customer interaction, and hospitality operations in a professional learning environment.

Circulation Time: Monday to Friday, 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Strict silence, decorum, and discipline must be maintained in the library.

Advanced Training Restaurant

The training restaurant offers a professional fine-dining setup where students develop the technical, interpersonal, and managerial competencies essential for careers in the hospitality industry. Under the guidance of experienced faculty, students are trained to deliver exceptional guest experiences while adhering to international service standards.

  • International Table Service Techniques : Hands-on training in American, English, French, Russian, Silver, and Buffet service styles.
  • Live Restaurant Simulations : Practice complete restaurant operations, including guest reception, seating, order taking, Point-of-Sale (POS) operations, food and beverage service, billing, and guest feedback.
  • Specialized Food Service : Training in gueridon service, flambĂ© preparation, carving, and other interactive dining experiences.
  • Banquet and Event Management : Exposure to banquet layouts, buffet presentations, formal dining events, and large-scale hospitality operations.
  • Restaurant Operations : Development of skills in table setting, menu presentation, customer relations, hygiene standards, teamwork, and service excellence.

Mock Bar

The Mock Bar is a dedicated beverage training laboratory where students gain practical knowledge of professional bar operations in a safe and controlled learning environment. The facility emphasizes responsible beverage service, beverage preparation techniques, and bar management without the use of alcoholic beverages during routine training.

  • Mixology Fundamentals : Preparation of a wide range of mocktails, cocktails (demonstration-based where applicable), specialty beverages, and signature recipes.
  • Professional Pouring Techniques : Accuracy in measurement, speed pouring, garnish preparation, and beverage presentation.
  • Bar Operations and Inventory Management : Glassware identification, bar equipment handling, stock control, beverage costing, and inventory management.
  • Customer Service Skills : Professional communication, beverage recommendations, responsible service practices, and guest interaction.
  • Advanced Bartending Techniques : Introduction to flair bartending, creative beverage presentation, and recipe development under expert supervision.
